Lion's Mane Mushroom

Extract (Hericium erinaceus) (fruiting body), std. to 50% Polysaccharides

What it is

Lion's Mane is a mushroom that has been on dinner tables in East Asia for centuries. Researchers study its compounds for their effect on nerve growth factor (NGF), which is involved in neuroplasticity and cognitive function.

Why this much

A full gram of fruiting-body extract, standardized to 50% polysaccharides. From the real mushroom, not filler grown on grain. Most blends hide a sprinkle behind the words "proprietary blend." We print the gram.

L-Theanine

(L-γ-Glutamylethylamide)

What it is

L-Theanine is an amino acid from tea that promotes alpha brain wave activity, associated with a state of relaxed alertness. It is the reason a cup of tea feels calm instead of wired.

Why this much

400 mg, paired with the natural caffeine in green tea, the way the two occur together in a cup of tea. It takes the sharp edge off caffeine, so you feel focused, not jittery.

Supports a calm, steady state of alertness.*

Why this much

300 mg, standardized to 98% polyphenols and 50% EGCG. It gives the stick its 15 to 20 mg of natural caffeine. Caffeine plus L-Theanine is one of the most studied focus pairings there is.
